Doctors in the FamilyRachel Welch, my Granddaughter is going to be a Doctor!! I have never been prouder of anyonein all my life. Not only will she be one of the most knowledgeable Doctors, also one of the most compassionate.
I remember when she was only 3 or 4 years old, we were all going out for the day but her Mom & I were going in one direction and her Dad in another. Both asked her if she wanted to go with them. Little Rachel (I will never forget) came to me and said “Gramma, I do not know what to do, I love them both and would never want to hurt their feelings if I go with one and not the other. Over the years she has never changed.
Rachel has Graduated with Honors ( 98% average) with her Bachelor of Science in Biolgical Science from University of Albany. Accompishing a 4 year course in just 3 years plus held down 2 part time jobs.
She now is attending M.C.P.H.S. in Manchester Mass. To be Physcians Assistant. This too is a 3 year course which she will finish in 2 years with top marks.
She is not only one of the smartest and kindest person I have ever met but beautiful too. What more can a Grandmother ask for. Rachel I am so proud.
